### Three tools hiding inside one EQ
FireSonic FireEQ looks like an equalizer, but it works like three processors at once. The EQ section shapes tone. The Magic knob adds multiband-style dynamic processing. And the Side/Mid controls on every band plus the Sidekill filter give you stereo imaging control that most dedicated imaging plugins would envy. One insert, three jobs done — for €49.99 instead of €110.
### The fast controls: Depth, Dark/Bright, Magic
Three big knobs dominate the top of the interface. Depth dials the overall amount of processing up or down. Dark/Bright tilts the entire tonal balance — warmer and darker one way, brighter and more open the other — in a single move. Magic is the secret weapon: dynamic processing that lifts buried detail and reins in peaks, keeping the sound even and lively.
### Eight bands of Mid/Side EQ
The central eight-band graphic EQ spans 100 Hz to 12 kHz in octave steps with ±12 dB faders. Each band carries a Side/Mid knob: push it one way and the band affects the mid signal more, the other way and it widens the sides. You can tighten a muddy vocal without touching the guitars, or widen the air band without smearing the center — precision that static EQs can’t offer.
### Shelves with vintage soul, low-cut with brains
Low shelf (30–450 Hz) and high shelf (1.5–16 kHz) are analog-modeled with ±16 dB of range — the warm, forgiving curves of classic hardware. The low-cut filter runs 0–500 Hz with five slope options (6 to 48 dB/oct), and Sidekill applies that cut to the side signal only: bass goes mono, stays punchy, and never causes phase problems on big systems.
### Built for honest decisions
AGC (Automatic Gain Compensation) keeps output loudness matched to input, so EQ moves are judged on tone alone. A/B comparison, Copy, and undo/redo make experimentation safe. Under the hood: 64-bit processing, sample rates to 192 kHz and beyond, near-zero CPU in sleep mode, and a resizable photorealistic GUI.

### FAQ
What is FireEQ? A dynamic EQ plugin by FireSonic (United Plugins) combining 8-band EQ, per-band Mid/Side control, dynamic processing (Magic), and a Sidekill low-cut.
How does Magic work? Magic applies complex dynamic processing that flattens the sound — amplifying quiet parts and attenuating loud parts, like a multiband compressor.
What is Sidekill for? It high-passes only the side signal, removing stereo content from low frequencies so bass stays mono and phase-safe.
Which DAWs does it work in? Any host supporting VST, VST3, AU, or AAX — Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Cubase, Studio One, REAPER, Pro Tools.
Do I need iLok? No. Activation uses a simple license file.
How do I receive my purchase? Download and license details are provided by the store after purchase.
