In The Mix Bassmaker is a next-gen sub synthesis plugin built for one job: giving any track a deep, solid low end. Feed it a kick, a bass guitar, an 808, a synth line — even a vocal or guitar with barely any bass in it — and Bassmaker generates a clean fundamental bass layer underneath, tuned to your music. Lock it to a note, pin it to a frequency, or let its custom pitch-tracking follow the incoming signal note by note.

How It Works

• Fundamental Bass Generator — analyses the source and synthesises supporting bass you can feel as well as hear.
• SUB 1 + SUB 2 engines — two independent sub layers, each with gain, attack and decay, so you can combine a tight fundamental with a wider sub wash.
• Pitch-tracked reinforcement — set a focus range and Bassmaker builds a pitch-following sub inside it; attack and release follow the input for a natural envelope.
• Lower-octave support — adds a controlled octave-down foundation to vocals, basses, guitars and synths.

Shape and Stabilise

The TONE stage runs the generated bass through tube and tape modelled saturation, adding the harmonics that make subs audible on laptop speakers and earbuds. STABILISE is a smart low-end spectral compressor: it evens out wobbly, inconsistent bass in both the dry signal and the generated layer. Smoothing, detection and quality modes let you tune the behaviour from gentle support to outright bass replacement, in any genre.
