Native Instruments Session Guitarist – Picked Acoustic

Every songwriter knows the gap between the guitar part in their head and the one they can actually play. Native Instruments Session Guitarist – Picked Acoustic closes it: a meticulously sampled acoustic guitar performing real fingerpicked patterns – the rolling arpeggios and delicate picking of folk, pop and singer-songwriter records. At PluginsVST it is €29.99 instead of €99.00 – 70% off – with your license key and a secure download link sent to your email.

A session guitarist on call

Picked Acoustic was recorded with a professional session player, and it shows in the details: the slight timing variations, the natural string noise, the way patterns breathe. You choose a pattern, play chords, and the engine performs the picking for you – with the human feel intact. It is the difference between a programmed approximation and a performance.

Play it your way

• Authentic fingerpicked patterns performed by a session guitarist
• Play chords and get complete, musical picking performances
• Sound-shaping controls: tone, dynamics and built-in studio effects
• Song presets for instant, mix-ready starting points
• Flexible pattern control – adapt grooves to your arrangement
• Pristine recordings that sit beautifully in any mix

For writers, not just producers

The real audience for Picked Acoustic is anyone who writes songs. Demos stop sounding like demos when the acoustic guitar sounds like a record – and arrangements get finished instead of abandoned at the "I’ll re-record this later" stage. Many never do re-record it. Nobody can tell.

From demo to release

The dirty secret of Picked Acoustic is how often the "demo" guitar becomes the final guitar. Because the performances are real session playing – not MIDI approximations – they survive the scrutiny of mastering and release. Countless producers have shipped tracks where the acoustic you hear is this library, and no listener has ever asked which studio it was recorded in.

Can I use it for live performance?

Yes – load it in Kontakt standalone or your DAW and perform patterns live from a keyboard or pad controller.

Does it work for strumming too?

Picked Acoustic specializes in fingerpicked patterns; its strength is intricate, intimate playing rather than big strums.
