Yamaha Montage M Expanded Softsynth for Mac & Windows

The Yamaha Montage is the keyboard that defined the modern workstation — the one you see on arena stages and in film-score studios. The Montage M Expanded Softsynth brings that entire experience into your DAW, no hardware required. And at 84% off (€79.99 instead of €499.00), the flagship Yamaha sound costs less than a single boutique sample library.

This is the smart-money way to buy Yamaha Montage M Expanded Softsynth: the full software instrument, your own license key, delivered to your email in minutes.

Two legendary engines, one instrument

Most softsynths give you one synthesis method and call it a day. Montage M gives you two of the most respected engines ever built. The AWM2 sample-based engine delivers realistic acoustic instruments — grand pianos, electric pianos, strings, brass, woodwinds, guitars, basses, drums, choirs and full orchestral sections — with the depth and detail that made the hardware Montage a session standard. Alongside it, the FM-X engine brings advanced frequency-modulation synthesis for the glassy bells, aggressive basses and evolving digital textures that defined entire eras of electronic music. Two engines, layered and split across the keyboard however you like, in a single plugin instance.

Motion Control: performance you can feel

Static presets are fine for sketching, but records are made with movement. Montage M’s Motion Control system is built for exactly that: the Super Knob gives you macro control over multiple parameters at once, so a single gesture can morph a sound from intimate to enormous. The Motion Sequencer automates parameter changes in rhythmic patterns, and the advanced arpeggiator turns simple chord shapes into complex evolving phrases. For keyboard players and producers alike, this is the difference between playing a sound and performing it.

Built for real sessions, not just demos

This is a professional instrument, not a cut-down teaser. The multi-part performance system lets you stack and split sounds across the keyboard for rich layered arrangements. Professional effects processing — reverb, chorus, compression, master EQ and more — means sounds arrive mix-ready. The high-resolution audio engine keeps everything pristine, and studio integration features make it sit naturally in a DAW workflow alongside your other instruments. Whether you are scoring a film, producing EDM or pop, or designing ambient textures, the sound library covers it: cinematic pads, punchy electronic basses, realistic acoustic instruments and everything between.
